Abstract
Problem/Background:Elections are an important foundation of a country that believes in democracy and as a means of realizing popular sovereignty and an arena of fair competition for political parties. The process of holding elections is not free from violations, especially money politics, there are still many candidates for office who replace their popularity by buying people's votes, as well as people who have not been educated about political education. Bawaslu is present as an election organizing agency tasked with overseeing the general election. Purpose:Thisstudyaimstofindoutandanalyze howbawaslu'sstrategyin preventingmoney political practices ahead of the 2024 elections.Method:The research method used is qualitative which is descriptive with an inductive approach to make a clear and systematic picture and accurate based on facts in the field.Results/Findings: The results of this study show that Bawaslu's strategy in preventing the practice of money politics in Bekasi City is not optimal because the communication indicators have not been maximized where not all programs are on target and there are still several inhibiting factors in terms of people who are reluctant to witness to inadequate budgets.Conclusion:Bekasi City has not been optimal because in the communication dimension there are still cases of people who are reluctant to be witnesses, limited budgets and areas prone to election violations. So that efforts that can be made by Bawaslu Bekasi City are coordinating between government institutions, collaborating with community organizations, implementing digitalization bycreatingawebsite"JarimuAwasiPemilu"andtoovercomebudget limitations Bawaslu Bekasi City created a Thematic KKN program.
