Abstract

The background in this research is that this smart farmer program can still be even better in implementing this program in the field. The author uses a qualitative research method that is descriptive in nature with data collection techniques through observation interviews and documentation. This study aims to find out how the implementation of the smart farming program created by the Pasangkayu Regency government is implemented in Bulutaba sub-district to find out the obstacles that have not been maximized in implementing the smart farming program, and what efforts have been made in implementing this smart farming program to maximize the programs implemented by the government tide district. In accordance with research conducted at the Agriculture Office of Pasangkayu Regency and Buku Taba District, its implementation has been quite good in implementing programs that are right on target to farmers, but the enthusiasm of farmers is still lacking in this program where the number of farmers is quite large, especially in Bulutaba sub-district, it should be able to increase more. who are participating in this program. Based on the conclusions of the final report, the implementation of the smart farming program policy in Bulu Taba sub-district has not been implemented properly because the enthusiasm of the community itself has not all participated in this program. so that in the future the implementation of the smart farming program in the field can be realized in accordance with the objectives.
