Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): Unit Simpan Pinjam Syariah (USPS) of the BUMDes Sumber Sejahtera is a response to the problems in the village. To overcome the prevalence of loan sharks in the community due to the limitations of obtaining loans from banks and as a form of community empowerment, the Village Government, along with the BUMDes Sumber Sejahtera, established a microfinance unit in the village. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of community empowerment through USPS in Nagrog Village, Cicalengka. Method: This research is a descriptive type of study with a qualitative approach. Result: From the research conducted, it can be said that the research results indicate that community empowerment through USPS in Nagrog Village has been carried out as it should be, with the provision of business capital loans as a form of empowerment. However, in terms of the enabling program dimension, USPS has not been fully experienced by the entire community, as seen from the small number of customers scattered throughout Nagrog Village. Conclusion: By observing the conditions in the field, the researchers hope that the Village Government and the BUMDes Sumber Sejahtera can develop USPS so that it can be felt by all residents of Nagrog Village in order to improve the economy and welfare of the community. ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP) : Unit Simpan Pinjam Syariah (USPS) Badan Usaha Milik Desa Sumber Sejahtera merupakan jawaban dari permasalahan yang ada di Desa. Guna mengatasi maraknya kasus rentenir yang terjadi di masyarakat, akibat keterbatasan masyarakat mendapatkan pinjaman dari bank, dan juga sebagai salah satu bentuk upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat, maka Pemerintah Desa beserta BUMDes Sumber Sejahtera membentuk suatu unit usaha keuangan mikro di lingkungan Desa. Tujuan : Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pelaksanaan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui USPS di Desa Nagrog, Kecamatan Cicalengka. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil/Temuan: Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, dapat dikatakan bahwa hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui USPS di Desa Nagrog sudah berjalan sebagaimana mestinya dengan pemberian pinjaman modal usaha sebagai bentuk pemberdayaan, namun didalam dimensi enabling program USPS belum sepenuhnya dirasakan oleh seluruh masyarakat, hal ini terlihat dari sedikitnya jumlah nasabah yang tersebar di Desa Nagrog. Kesimpulan: Dengan melihat kondisi dilapangan, peneliti mengharapkan Pemerintah Desa dan BUMDes Sumber Sejahtera dapat mengembangkan USPS sehingga dapat dirasakan oleh seluruh warga Desa Nagrog agar dapat meningkatkan perekonomian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
