Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): ATCS (Area Traffic Control System) or commonly known as CCTV is a technology that is made as technology develops. However, ordinary people still rarely hear of CCTV technology because ATCS is currently still web-based where access is still limited to using a browser and the domain to access it is not known by the wider community. The Department of Transportation (DISHUB) is an implementer and regulator of the smooth running of its implementation. Purpose:This research has the goal of adding functions to a product in the form of an android-based mobile application, which is an interactive process that involves the needs of users and researchers making applications. Method: With the User Centered Design method and sources using primary data collection methods obtained from field observations, interviews, and system observations as well as secondary data collection that has been collected by the scope of research. Result: The results of these observations are directly made a resume by the author and from this observation activity it can be seen the problems that exist in the difficulty of conveying information, interviews with related parts, namely the ranks of officials at DISHUB Jabar to extract information that will be used as a reference for building proposals. Conclusion: With the design of this android�based application model, it is hoped that DISHUB and other ranks and researchers can optimize the development of the ATCS (Area Traffic Control System) system that has been published in order to create better technology than before. Keywords: Bandung City ATCS ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): ATCS (Area Traffic Control System) atau biasa yang dikenal dengan CCTV merupakan teknologi yang dibuat seiring berkembangnya suatu teknologi. Namun, masyarakat awam masih sangat jarang mendengar adanya teknologi CCTV karena ATCS saat ini masih berbasis web dimana dalam mengaksesnya masih terbatas menggunakan browser serta domain untuk mengaksesnya tidak diketahui oleh masyarkat luas. Dinas Perhubungan (DISHUB) merupakan pelaksana dan pengatur kelancaran pelaksanaannya. Tujuan: Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menambahkan fungsi pada sebuah produk berupa rancangan model aplikasi berbasis android, yang merupakan sebuah proses interaktif yang melibatkan kebutuhan pengguna dan peneliti yang membuat aplikasi. Metode: Dengan metode User Centered Design serta sumber menggunakan metode pengumpulan data primer yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan 2 pengamatan sistem serta pengumpulan data sekunder yang telah dikumpulkan oleh ruang lingkup penelitian. Hasil/Temuan: Hasil dari observasi tersebut langsung dibuat resume oleh penulis dan dari kegiatan observasi ini dapat diketahui permasalahan yang terdapat pada sulitnya penyampaian informasi, wawancara dengan bagian terkait yaitu jajaran pejabat di DISHUB Jabar untuk menggali informasi yang akan digunakan sebagai acuan untuk membangun usulan. Kesimpulan: Dengan dibuat rancangan model aplikasi berbasis android ini diharapkan pihak DISHUB beserta jajaran dan peneliti lainnya dapat mengoptimalkan kembali pengembangan terhadap sistem ATCS (Area Traffic Control System) yang sudah terbit agar dapat menciptakan teknologi yang lebih baik dari sebelumnya.
