Abstract
Problem/Background (GAP): Political Dynamics in the election for Mayor of Bandar Lampung in 2020 which won the candidate pair number 3, namely Eva Dwiana-Deddy Amarullah with the highest number of votes obtained from the other 2 (two) candidate pairs from each TPS spread across all sub-districts in the city of Bandar Lampung with the number of votes obtained by the candidate pair received a total of 249,134 votes or 53.7% from all sub-districts in 126 Sub-Districts. Moreover, Mother Eva became the first female Mayor in the history of Bandar Lampung City. Seeing these conditions, the researcher is interested in conducting research related to the victory of the candidate pair and the factors that made the people of Bandar Lampung City choose serial number 3. Purpose: The purpose of the study was to find out the factors that influenced the people of Bandar Lampung City to make their choice of candidate pairs in the Bandar Lampung mayoral election in 2010. 2020. This research method is qualitative research, the type of research used is "field research" with a descriptive approach and data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique for this research was ASOCA Analysis which analyzed Ability, Strength, Opportunities, Culture, Agility and the data reduction stage, data presentation and data verification using data triangulation, namely comparing the results of observations and interviews conducted by informants. The informants in this study were the Chairperson of the Bandar Lampung City Party DPC, community leaders. factors that influence the people of Bandar Lampung City to make their choice of candidate pairs. The results of this study indicate that the factors that determine the people of Bandar Lampung City in choosing a partner are seen from the typological factors of voters which include family ties, ethnic ties, origins of candidate pairs, background the background of the candidates, trust in the candidate pairs, relatively equal expectations, the popularity of the candidate pairs, educational level, economic level of voter ideology, and seen from the initial conditions of voters, mass media and political parties/contestants.
