Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem Statement/ Background (GAP) : Padang Command Center is a program created by the Padang City Government and the Padang City Diskominfo which is engaged in the Data Center and Network Infrastructure as well as a media for information needs for Regional and Community Devices. In the implementation of the PCC program there are still many deficiencies starting from budgetary problems, facilities and infrastructure, and human resources which have resulted in the PCC program not running well.The purpose of this study is to find out the Optimization of Public Information Services through the Padang Command Center Smart Program (Study at the Padang City Diskominfo) and what are the obstacles in the program.The Method is descriptive method with an inductive approach. Techniques in collecting data using observation techniques, interviews and documentation. As for the data analysis techniques used, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Result Based on the research the Optimization of Public Information Services through the Padang Command Center Smart Program (Study at the Padang City Diskominfo) has not been implemented properly. Conslusion Some of the obstacles in the PCC program itself are the lack of infrastructure, human resources that are not yet competent in their fields and socialization that is still not maximal to regional apparatus and the community. From the results of this research, it is hoped that Diskominfo can further maximize the budget that has been given and prioritize the budget to meet the needs for facilities that are not yet available and provide training to Diskominfo employees in Padang City. Keywords : Optimization, Information, Command Center ABSTRAK Pernyataan Masalah / Latar Belakang (GAP) : Padang Command Center merupakan sebuah program yang dibuat oleh Pemerintah Kota Padang dan Diskominfo Kota Padang yang bergerak dalam bidang Data Center dan Infrastruktur Jaringan serta sebagai media kebutuhan informasi untuk Perangkat Daerah dan Masyarakat. Dalam penyelenggaraan program PCC ini masih banyak terdapat kekurangan- kekurangan mulai dari masalah anggaran, sarana dan prasarana, serta SDM yang mengakibatkan program PCC ini belum berjalan dengan baik. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah mengetahui Optimalisasi Pelayanan Informasi Publik melalui Program Cerdas Padang Command Center ( Studi di Diskominfo Kota Padang ) serta apa saja yang menjadi kendala dalam program tersebut. Metodenya adalah menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan induktif. Teknik dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan untuk teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian Optimalisasi Pelayanan Informasi Publik melalui Program Cerdas Padang Command Center ( Studi di Diskominfo Kota Padang ) belum terlaksana dengan baik. Kesimpulan Beberapa kendala dalam program PCC sendiri adalah Sarana-prasarana yang kurang, SDM yang belum berkompeten dibidangnya serta Sosialiasi yang masih belum maksimal kepada Perangkat Daerah dan Masyarakat. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut, diharapkan Diskominfo bisa memaksimalkan lagi apa yang telah diberikan serta untuk memenuhi kebutuhan fasilitas memberikan pelatihan- pelatihan kepada pegawai Diskominfo Kota Padang.
