Abstract

Problem Statement/Background (GAP): Parking is an integral component in transportation needs, especially vehicles. an increase in the intensity of existing vehicles in the City of Palangka Raya has the opportunity to increase PAD from parking fees. The Palangka Raya City Transportation Office issued a Si-TaKir Application policy which functions as a data processing application that contains information about parking management in all areas in Palangka Raya. With the Si-TaKir application, the City Government of Palangka Raya can increase revenue through parking fees by minimizing illegal parking attendants who do not contribute to increasing PAD. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the Implementation of Parking Management Policy through the Si- TaKir Application in the City of Palangka Raya, to know and analyze what the inhibiting, supporting factors and efforts to overcome the inhibiting factors of the Implementation of the Parking Management Policy through the Si-TaKir Application in the City of Palangka Raya. Method: This research method is descriptive qualitative. with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Result: The results of the research show that the Implementation of the Parking Management policy through the Si-TaKir Application in the City of Palangka Raya has been running according to its purpose, namely to provide easy access for the public to obtain public information regarding parking management. Conclusion: Suggestions given from the result of this study it is able to help increase PAD through parking fees by minimizing the existence of illegal parking attendants who are not recorded in the Si-TaKir Application which is an obstacle in utilizing the potential of existing parking management in the City of Palangka Raya.
