Abstract

Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The problems observed are what is the role of the Aceh Party in providing political education and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of the Aceh Party's efforts to provide political education in the city of Lhokseumawe, Aceh province. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to find out and examine how the Aceh Party plays a role in political education in the city of Lhokseumawe, Aceh province. Method: The research method used is a qualitative research method, with a deductive approach. Data collection techniques used by researchers in this study were interviews and documentation techniques. In this study the authors used the role theory of Soerjono Soekanto which divides roles into three types, namely factual roles, ideal roles and normative roles. Result: The results of the study show that the role of the aceh party in carrying out political education in the city of Lhokseumawe, Aceh Province, has been going well from the factual and ideal dimensions, but in terms of the normative dimension it is still not optimal. Conclusion: The role of the Aceh Party in carrying out political education is still not optimal because the quality of education for some members or cadres of the Aceh party is still minimal, besides that there are obstacles encountered in the process, namely in terms of access to areas that are too far away as well as the quality of human resources which is still minimal and the budget limited. ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Masalah yang diamati yaitu bagaimana peran Partai Aceh terhadap pemberian pendidikan politik dan apa faktor pendukung dan penghambat dari upaya Partai Aceh dalam memberikan pendidikan politik di kota Lhokseumawe provinsi Aceh. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji bagimana peran Partai Aceh terhadap pendidikan politik di kota Lhokseumawe provinsi Aceh. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualiatif, dengan pendekatan deduktif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan teori peran dari soerjono soekanto yang membagi peran dalam tiga jenis yaitu peran faktual, peran ideal dan peran normative. Hasil/Temuan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran partai aceh dalam melaksanakan pendidikan politik di kota Lhokseumawe Provinsi Aceh sudah berjalan dengan baik dari dimensi faktual dan dimensi ideal, namun dari segi dimensi normative masih kurang optimal. Kesimpulan: Peran Partai Aceh dalam melaksanakan pendidikan politik masih kurang optimal dikarenakan kualitas pendidikan sebagian anggota ataupun kader partai aceh masih minim, disamping itu adanya hambatan hambatan yang ditemui dalam prosesnya yaitu dari segi akses wilayah yang terlalu jauh juga kualitas SDM yang masih minim serta anggaran yang terbatas.
