Abstract
Problem/Background (GAP): Women's feminist leadership produces a sympathetic approach. This is supported by the factor that women not only take care of themselves but also their social environment. Therefore, there is a need for awareness in gender equality and political rights between men and women today. Objective: The purpose of this study is to determine the leadership of the first female Regent in Bekasi Regency, West Java Province. Method: This research uses qualitative methods. The author uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. The data that has been collected is then analyzed by collecting data, analyzing data, and drawing conclusions. Results / Findings: The results obtained by the author are how the leadership of the first female Regent in Bekasi Regency, West Java Province, the characteristics of her leadership, the achievements of Bekasi Regency during her leadership to the factors or causes of her re-election in the second term. The leadership of the female Regent Neneng Hasanah Yasin is characterized as a woman who is more aware or concerned about matters concerning women and children, unpretentious and blusukan accompanied by other factors such as historical factors of her family. Even though as a female Regent where women themselves are famous for being gentle or using hearts and feelings in almost everything, the female Regent Neneng Hasanah Yasin proves that she still has a firm nature when carrying out her duties as a leader. Conclusion: The leadership of the female Regent Neneng Hasanah Yasin is favored by the community because she has leadership traits that are close to the community, but remains firm as a leader.
