Abstract

ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang: Dalam pergerakan politik di Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara telah lama memakai sistem daratan kepulauan. Praktik politik ini memberikan peluang kepada kandidat untuk membawa kepentingannya melalui kesamaan identitasnya. Praktik daratan kepulauan dalam pergerakan politik lokal padapemilihan gubernur dan wakil gubernur Sulawesi Tenggara di tahun 2018 menjadikan isu suku sebagai pembawa terhadap representasi bagi calon kandidat untuk menarik massa pada momentum Pemilihan Gubernur Sulawesi Tenggara 2018. Seperti yang telah di jelaskan di atas maka peneliti tertarik untuk mengambil judul “Dinamika Politik Identitas Sulawesi Tenggara (Studi Pada Pemilihan Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Tahun 2018)”. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh politik identitas serta faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan politik identitas dibawa bersama isu suku. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan menggunakan teori politik identitasdari Pierre Van Den Bergh dimana terdapat dua dimensi. Dimensi yang dimaksud tersebut adalah konstruksionis dan instrumentalis. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil/Temuan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada pelaksanaan pemilihan Gubernur Sulawesi Tenggara menunjukkan bahwa masih adanya isu yang di bawah terkait politik identitas dan masih adanya pemasangan yang dilakukan oleh partai yang memasangkan dari perwakilan daratan dan kepulauan,hal ini dilakukan agar menarik atau memobilisasi masyarakat untuk memilihpasangan calon yang berasal dari daerahnya atau putra asli daerah. Identitas yang dimiliki oleh seseorang atau kelompok baik di peroleh dari kontruksitivisme dan instrumentalisme identitas yang dimiliki atauyang ada di lingkungan masyarakat sekitarnya. Faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya politik identitas ini yaitu dari faktor kekuasaan. Kemudian Instrumen yang digunakan yakni berupa media sosial untuk memunculkan isu politik identitas, tetapi instrumen etnis sebagai kekuatan politik tidak begitu di tonjolkan. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan penelitian ini mampu disimpulkan bahwa dinamika politik identitas di Sulawesi Tenggara Pada Pemilihan Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Tahun 2018 terjadi dengan sangat kompleks. Kata Kunci: Dinamika Politik, Politik Identitas, Pemilihan Gubernur ABSTRACT Problems/Background: Political movements in Southeast Sulawesi Province have long used the land-island system. This political practice provides an opportunity for candidates to carry out their interests through the similarity of their identities. The practice of mainland islands in local political movements in the election for the governor and deputy governor of Southeast Sulawesi in 2018 made ethnic issues a vehicle for representation for prospective candidates to attract the masses at the momentum of the 2018 Southeast Sulawesi Governor Election. As explained above, the researcher is interested in took the title "The Political Dynamics of Southeast Sulawesi Identity (Study on the 2018 Governor and Deputy Governor Elections)". Purpose: This study aims to determine the influence of identity politics and what factors cause identity politics to be brought together with ethnic issues. In this study using identity politics theory from Pierre Van Den Bergh where there are two dimensions. The dimensions in question are constructionist and instrumentalist. Method: The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection methods used are interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Results/Findings: The results of the study show that the implementation of the election for the Governor of Southeast Sulawesi shows that there are still issues related to identity politics and there are still installations carried out by parties that pair representatives from mainland and islands, this is done in order to attract or mobilize the public to vote pairs of candidates who come from their area or are native to the area. Identity that is owned by a person or group is obtained either from constructivism and identity instrumentalism that is owned or that exists in the surrounding community. The factor that influences the occurrence of identity politics is the power factor. Then the instrument used is in the form of social media to bring up the issue of identity politics, but ethnic instruments as a political force are not so highlighted. Conclusion: Based on this research, it can be concluded that the dynamics of identity politics in Southeast Sulawesi in the 2018 Governor and Deputy Governor Elections are very complex.
