Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The development of technology encourages the Communication and Information Technology Office of Merauke Regency to run the Merauke.go.id website which is a central page of information and public services provided to all people of Merauke Regency. However, in its implementation, it has not yet been effectively delivered and utilized by the people of Merauke Regency. This is due to numerous issues with the website, resulting in suboptimal usage. In relation to this matter, the author is interested in conducting research and proposing the title "EVALUATION OF THE GOVERNMENT WEBSITE OF MERAUKE REGENCY." Purpose: The purpose of this writing is to find out the problems and efforts to overcome problems on the Merauke.go.id website. Method: The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a deductive approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. For data analysis the author uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Result: The results of this study are that the Merauke.go.id website has not been very effective in its use. This can be seen based on the theory used by the author, namely the effort factor and cost efficiency and the results obtained from the problems that occur on the Merauke.go.id website are the lack of IT expert human resources, especially web managers, understanding of technology is still lacking, admins are not quick to update data and information, lack of socialization about government web, there are still many options that are wrong on the website. Conclusion: Efforts made to overcome the problem are Opening vacancies and tests on people who are IT experts, especially web managers, socialization is carried out regularly, additional admins are made to facilitate data updates, socialization of government websites in each village, more sensitive to errors on the website. Based on the results of research conducted by the author, the Merauke.go.id website managed by the Merauke Regency Communication and Information Service has been carried out well but still needs to be improved so that it will be better in the future. Keywords: Website, Merauke.go.id, Socialization, Problems, Efforts ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Perkembangan Teknologi mendorong Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Merauke untuk menjalankan website Merauke.go.id yang merupakan halaman pusat informasi dan pelayanan publik yang disediakan untuk Seluruh masyarakat Kabupaten Merauke. Akan tetapi, dalam pelaksanaannya masih belum tersampaikan dan digunakan oleh masyarakat Kabupaten Merauke. Hal ini disebabkan karena masih banyak masalah dalam website sehingga penggunaannya tidak optimal. Terkait hal tersebut penulis tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian dan mengangkat judul “EVALUASI WEBSITE PEMERINTAH KABUPATEN MERAUKE” Tujuan: Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui permasalahan dan upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan pada website Merauke.go.id. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan deduktif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Untuk analisis data penulis menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil/Temuan: Hasil penelitian ini adalah website Merauke.go.id belum begitu efektif penggunaannya. Hal ini dapat diketahui berdasarkan teori yang digunakan oleh penulis yaitu faktor upaya dan efisiensi biaya dan diperoleh hasil permasalahan yang terjadi dalam website Merauke.go.id adalah Kekurangan SDM ahli IT khususnya pengelola web, pemahaman teknologi masih kurang, admin kurang cepat update data dan informasi, kurangnya sosialisasi tentang web pemerintah, masih banyak opsi pilihan yang error dalam website. Kesimpulan: Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan adalah Membuka lowongan dan tes pada orang yang ahli IT khususnya pengelola web, sosialisasi dilakukan secara berkala, dilakukan penambahan admin agar mempermudah update data, dilakukannya sosialisasi website pemerintah di tiap kelurahan, lebih peka terhadap error dalam website. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh penulis website Merauke.go.id yang dikelola Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Merauke sudah terlaksana dengan baik namun masih perlu ditingkatkan lagi agar semakin baik kedepannya.
