Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem/Background (GAP): The author focuses on the problem of the effectiveness of the performance of the I-Indramayu application as a digital-based library service in Indramayu Regency.. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the effectiveness of the performance of the I-Indramayu application in digital-based library services in Indramayu Regency. Method: The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative research with inductive approach. Data collection techniques used by observation, interviews, and documentation.. Result/Finding: the results showed that the application of I-Indramayu in Indramayu district based on five dimensions studied in the theory of effectiveness Sutrisno (2007: 125-126) most of which have been running effectively where the inhibiting factors of effectiveness in the form of budget and facilities and infrastructure are less, the lack of quality of employees and less socialization. Efforts to overcome obstacles by maximizing the budget and infrastructure, improving the quality of human resources, and more intensively socialize. The advice given by the researcher is to continue to develop the I-Indramayu application so that it can be used optimally and still maintain what has been good. Conclusion: The effectiveness of the I-Indramayu application has not been effective but during the covid-19 pandemic the use of this application continues to run and experience a considerable increase due to the ease of reading books digitally which at that time the government recommended limiting activities outside or health protocols. Then there is the training of admins but on the other hand there are still at least people know this application and a collection of books that have not been updated but the target of the I-Indramayu application program has been achieved. Keywords: Effectiveness; I-Indramayu; Digital Library ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): (Berisi background yang melatarbelakangi penelitian). Penulis berfokus pada permasalahan Efektivitas kinerja dari aplikasi I-Indramayu sebagai pelayanan perpustakaan berbasis digital di Kabupaten Indramayu. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan efektivitas kinerja dari aplikasi I-Indramayu dalam pelayanan perpustakaan berbasis digital di Kabupaten Indramayu. Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan induktif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil/Temuan: Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa aplikasi I-Indramayu di Kabupaten Indramayu berdasarkan dari lima dimensi yang dikaji pada teori efektivitas Sutrisno (2007:125-126) sebagian besar sudah berjalan efektif dimana faktor penghambat efektivitas berupa anggaran serta sarana dan prasarana yang kurang, minimnya kualitas dari pegawai dan sosialisasi yang kurang. Upaya guna mengatasi hambatan dengan memaksimalkan anggaran serta sarana prasarana, meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia, dan semakin gencar melakukan sosialisasi. Adapun saran yang diberikan oleh peneliti adalah terus mengembangkan aplikasi I-Indramayu agar dapat digunakan secara maksimal serta tetap mempertahankan apa yang telah baik. Kesimpulan: Efektivitas aplikasi I-Indramayu ini belum efektif namun selama pandemi covid-19 penggunaan dari aplikasi ini terus berjalan dan mengalami penaikan yang lumayan banyak dikarenakan kemudahan dalam membaca buku secara digital yang mana saat itu pemerintah menganjurkan untuk membatasi kegiatan diluar atau protokol kesehatan. Lalu adanya pelatihan para admin namun disisi lain masih sedikitnya masyarakat mengetahui aplikasi ini serta koleksi buku yang belum diperbaharui namun sasaran dari program aplikasi I-Indramayu sudah tercapai.
