Abstract
Problems/Background (GAP): there are locations that still experience limited internet network coverage or blank spots in Mempawah Regency. Purpose: to objectively explain the general description of the data collected in the field regarding the condition of the internet network in Mempawah District. Method: descriptive qualitative method The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. While the analysis technique in this study is explained by triangulation of data where the author uses data from interviews and then makes observations in the form of tower locations and blank spot locations. which is supported by documentation data. Results/Findings: Information Technology Network Conditions within the Mempawah Regency Government are currently still found to have spots or areas that have not yet received internet network coverage, especially Sadaniang and Toho Districts, so efforts are needed to develop telecommunication networks in Mempawah Regency evenly. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that the goals of the development of internet-based telecommunication networks are in accordance with those expected by the Government of Mempawah Regency. In terms of internet-based telecommunications network development policy, it is in accordance with the objectives expected by the community. There are several programs designed and always being developed by the government to make it easier for the people of Mempawah Regency. In addition there are several applications made in the development of internet-based telecommunication networks. Keywords: Blank Spot
