Abstract

ABSTRACK Problem Statement/Background (GAP): This research is motivated by the high political participation of the people of Muara Bungo Regency in the implementation of the 2020 Bungo Regency regional elections, the high political participation of the community is also followed by the high political participation of first-time voters. Purpose: The focus of the purpose of writing this thesis is to find out the form of latent political participation from first-time voters in the 2020 Muara Bungo Regency election and what factors cause high participation from first-time voters. Method: The method used in this research is the Quasi-Qualitative Design method (DQQ). As for data collection techniques through interviews, documentation and distribution of questionnaires. While the data analysis technique uses the Manual Data Analysis Procedure (MDAP) technique. Results: The results of the study show that the high political participation of first-time voters is caused by several factors, the first is the socialization carried out by the Muara Bungo District Election Commission, the second is the political awareness of first-time voters to exercise their political rights and the third is the role of the public in providing information. through social media about the elections that will be carried out. Then, the form of latent political participation carried out by novice voters is by following or reading political news on social media, be it Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and WhatsApp. As well as often having political discussions with friends who are also novice voters. Conclusion: The role of the KPU and Kesbangpol in the implementation of the 2020 regional elections in Muara Bungo Regency has been very good, the political awareness of novice voters on the importance of their votes in the implementation of the 2020 regional elections in Muara Bungo Regency to elect their regional leaders for the next 5 years is a positive thing and The role of the community, especially parents, in influencing novice voters who contributed to the implementation of the 2020 regional elections in Muara Regency Bungo is also a factor that causes high participation from first-time voters.. ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Penelitian ini di latar belakangi karena tingginya partisipasi Politik Masysrakat Kabupaten Muara Bungo dalam pelaksanaan pilkada Kabupaten Bungo tahun 2020, Tingginya Partisipasi Politik dari masyarakat juga di ikuti dengan tingginya partisipasi politik dari pemilih pemula. Tujuan Fokus tujuan penulisan skripsi ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana bentuk partisipasi politik laten dari pemilih pemula dalam pelaksanaan pilkada Kabupaten Muara Bungo tahun 2020 serta faktor-faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan tingginya partisipasi dari pemilih pemula. Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode Desain Quasi-Qualitative (DQQ). Adapun teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, dokumentasi dan penyebaran kuesioner. Sedangkan teknik analisa data menggunakan teknik Manual Data Analysis Procedure (MDAP). Hasil/Temuan: Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa tingginya partisipasi politik dari pemilih pemula di sebabkan oleh bebrapa faktor,yang pertama yaitu sosialisasi yang di lakukan oleh KPU Kabupaten Muara Bungo, kedua yaitu Kesadaran politik dari pemilih pemula untuk menggunakan hak politiknya dan yang ketiga adalah peran dari masyarakat yang memberikan informasi melalui media sosial mengenai pilkada yang akan di laksanakan. Kemudian, bentuk partisipasi politik laten yang dilakukan oleh pemilih pemula adalah dengan mengikuti maupun membaca berita politik yang ada di media sosial baik itu Instagram,facebook,youtube,dan whatsapp. Serta sering melakukan diskusi politik dengan teman yang juga sebagai pemilih pemula. Kesimpulan: Peran dari Kpu maupun Kesbangpol dalam Pelaksanaan Pilkada Tahun 2020 Di Kabupaten Muara Bungo sudah sangat baik, Kesadaran Politik dari pemilih pemula terhadap pentingnya suara mereka dalam pelaksanaan Pilkada Tahun 2020 Di Kabupaten Muara Bungo untuk memilih pemimpin daerah mereka selama 5 tahun kedepan merupakan hal yang positif dan Peran dari masyarakat khususnya orang tua dalam mempengaruhi pemilih pemula yang turut berkontribusi pada penyelenggaraan Pilkada Tahun 2020 Di Kabupaten Muara Bungo juga menjadi faktor yang menyebabkan tingginya partisipasi dari pemilih pemula
