Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem/Background (GAP) : In the 2020-2024 National Medium-Term Development Plan, the President issued Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 72 of 2021 concerning the acceleration of stunting reduction with a target of 14% in 2024. Objectives : This study is to determine and analyze the Implementation of Acceleration of Stunting Reduction in South Nias Regency, North Sumatra Province. Method : the research used is qualitative. Data collection techniques using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The researcher's data analysis technique uses the implementation theory of Van Meter and Van Horn, Results / Findings : the research shows that the Implementation of Accelerating Stunting Reduction in South Nias Regency has not been effective due to lack of community participation with the results of interviews and direct observation in the field. Conclusion : the implementation of accelerated stunting reduction has been carried out well but still has not achieved the national target and there are several obstacles or obstacles such as socialization that does not run effectively due to lack of community participation. Researchers' suggestions need to make changes and evaluations in the program in the applicable local regulations and solve problems that occur in the community that become obstacles in the implementation of the program. Keywords: Policy Implementation, Acceleration, Stunting ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Dalam rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Nasional 2020-2024 Presiden mengeluarkan Peraturan Presiden (Perpres) Nomor 72 Tahun 2021 tentang percepatan penurunan stunting dengan target 14% di tahun 2024. Tujuan : penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganilisis Implementasi Percepatan Penurunan Stunting di Kabupaten Nias Selatan Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Metode : penelitian yang digunakan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan pengambilan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data peneliti menggunakan teori implementasi Van Meter dan Van Horn, Hasil/Temuan : penelitian menunjukan bahwa Implementasi Percepatan Penurunan Stunting di Kabupaten Nias Selatan belum efektif dikarenakan partisipasi masyarakat yang kurang dengan hasil wawancara dan observasi langsung di lapangan. Kesimpulan : implementasi percepatan penurunan stunting telah dilaksanakan dengan baik namun masih belum tercapai target nasional dan ada beberapa kendala atau hambatan seperti sosialisasi yang tidak berjalan efektif karena partisipasi masyarakat yang kurang. Saran peneliti perlu adanya perubahan serta evaluasi dalam program dalam peraturan daerah yang berlaku serta menyelesaikan masalah yang terjadi di masyarakat ynag menjadi penghambat dalam pelaksanaan program.
