Abstract

Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The government creates service facilities to meet community needs. One of the services provided is to provide convenience in obtaining permits. The government issued Government Regulation Number 24 of 2018 which regulates Electronically Integrated Business Licensing Services. The regulation explains that in order to obtain a business license, it is required to use the Online Single Submission (OSS) system. Online Single Submission (OSS) is used to take care of business licensing from the start to the issuance of permits. Purpose: This study aims to describe or find out the implementation of an electronically integrated business licensing system (online single submission) in improving the quality of public services One-Stop Investment and Services Agency. The research was located at the Investment and One Stop Service Office of Sumedang Regency as the research location. This study uses a qualitative approach to process the data obtained from the research location where the data is in the form of words, sentences, schemes or pictures. Method: This research is a descriptive research, namely to find out or describe the reality of the events studied or research conducted on independent or single variables, without making comparisons or connecting with other variables. Result: The findings that I obtained are that many people still do not have business licenses and the DPMPTSP of Sumedang Regency already has various kinds of applications that can make it easier for people to make permits. Conclusion: The results of this study concluded that the implemantion of the Electronically Integrated Business Licensing Services at the Department of Investment and the One Stop Service (DPMPTSP) has been running according to the procedures and the achievements obtained are in accordance with the objectives of the service. However, this is considered not optimal in its implementation where there are several inhibiting factors such as the lack of public knowladge regarding the online single submission (OSS) system.
