Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The author focuses on the problem of low reporting of death certificates in Pekalongan City. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the "M PATI" program in the service of making death certificates at the Pekalongan City Population and Civil Registration Service. Method: The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method with an inductive approach, for the collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Result: The findings obtained by the authors in this study are that the service for issuing death certificates through the "M PATI" program has been carried out but has not run optimally because there are still some obstacles. The inhibiting factors are that not all people know about the "M PATI" program, people are not aware of the importance of population documents, especially death certificates, not all people understand technology, system errors or server down and reporting times are not on time. Conclusion: The implementation of the "M PATI" program in the service of making death certificates in Pekalongan City has been good, this is supported by good cooperation with various parties. The author suggests that the Pekalongan City Population and Civil Registry Office conduct regular outreach regarding the importance of death certificates, socialize the "M PATI" program through both print and social media, provide training on technology so that people are not technologically illiterate, then conduct field reviews and cooperate with other parties to improve the server. Keywords: Innovation; Death Certificate; “MPATI” Program ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP):. Penulis berfokus pada permasalahan rendahnya pelaporan akta kematian di Kota Pekalongan. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan program “M PATI” di dalam pelayanan pembuatan akta kematian di Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Pekalongan. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan induktif, untuk teknik pengumpulan yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil/Temuan: Temuan yang diperoleh penulis dalam penelitian ini yaitu pelayanan penerbitan akta kematian melalui program “M PATI” ini sudah dilaksanakan namun belum berjalan secara maksimal karena masih ditemukan beberapa hambatan. Faktor hambatan yang ada yaitu seperti belum semua masyarakat mengetahui mengenai program “M PATI”, masyarakat belum sadar mengenai pentingnya dokumen kependudukan terutama akta kematian, belum seluruh masyarakat paham mengenai teknologi, kesalahan sistem atau server down dan waktu pelaporan tidak tepat waktu. Kesimpulan: Pelaksanaan program “M PATI” dalampelayanan pembuatan akta kematian di Kota Pekalongan sudah baik hal tersebut didukung oleh Kerjasama yang baik dengan berbagai pihak. Penulis menyarankan agar Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Pekalongan untuk melakukan sosialisasi secara berkala mengenai pentingnya akta kematian, mensosialisasikan program “M PATI” lewat media baik cetak maupun lewat media sosial, memberikan pembekalan mengenai teknologi agar masyarakat tidak gagap teknologi, kemudian melakuakn tinjauan lapangan dan melakukan kerjasama dengan pihak lain untuk memperbaiki server.
