Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The author focuses on Empowering Pineapple Farmers through the Appropriate Technology Service Post Program (Posyantek) in Basarang District aimed at reducing poverty and open unemployment. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the empowerment of pineapple farmers through the Posyantek program in Basarang District, supporting factors and inhibiting factors as well as government efforts by the Kapuas District Community and Village Empowerment Office. Method: This study uses a qualitative research method that is descriptive of the Empowerment concept according to Mardikanto and Poeworko. The technique of collecting data are interviewing (12 informants), observation, and documentation. Result: The findings obtained by the authors in this study are that the empowerment of pineapple farmers through the Posyantek program has not been successful in terms of Human Development and Business Development due to the lack of activity of the Posyantek management and the minimal budget for the Posyantek. Conclusion: The empowerment of pineapple farmers in Basarang District, Kapuas Regency through the Posyantek program has been going quite well because Posyantek has carried out its obligations in accordance with the decree that has been made and is proven to be able to foster innovation and creativity in the development of Appropriate Technology. It is recommended to increase the empowerment of pineapple farmers by speeding up drafting plan for the district head's regulations regarding Posyantek and Appropriate Technology innovations in Kapuas Regency, providing advice and assistance when the village prepares its activity budget seeking the construction of an office building for Posyantek in the village, and increasing the level of supervision from the planning stage to the evaluation stage. Keywords: Appropriate Technology, Empowerment, Posyantek ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Penulis berfokus pada Pemberdayaan Petani Nanas melalui Program Pos Pelayanan Teknologi Tepat Guna (Posyantek) di Kecamatan Basarang ditujukan untuk mengurangi kemisikinan dan pengangguran terbuka selain itu melihat dari keadaan Kecamatan Basarang sebagai produksi nanas terbesar di Kabupaten Kapuas. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemberdayaan petani nanas melalui program Posyantek di Kecamatan Basarang, faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat serta upaya pemerintah oleh Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa Kabupaten Kapuas. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif terhadap konsep Pemberdayaan menurut Mardikanto dan Poeworko. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara (12 informan), observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil/Temuan: Temuan yang diperoleh penulis dalam penelitian ini yaitu pemberdayaan petani nanas melalui program Posyantek masih belum berhasil dari segi Bina Manusia dan Bina Usaha yang dilakukan dikarenakan kurangnya keaktifan pengurus Posyantek dan minimya anggaran untuk Posyantek.Kesimpulan: Pemberdayaan petani nanas di Kecamatan Basarang Kabupaten Kapuas melalui program Posyantek sudah berjalan cukup baik karena Posyantek sudah melaksanakan kewajiban sesuai dengan surat keputusan yang telah dibuat dan terbukti dapat menumbuhkan inovasi dan kreativitas dalam pengembangan Teknologi Tepat Guna, disarankan untuk meningkatkan pemberdayaan petani nanas dengan mempercepat penyusunan draft rencana peraturan bupati mengenai Posyantek dan inovasi Teknologi Tepat Guna di Kabupaten Kapuas, melakukan penghimbauan dan pendampingan ketika desa menyusun anggaran kegiatannya mengupayakan pembangunan Gedung kantor untuk Posyantek di desa, dan meningkatkan tingkat pengawasan dari tahap perencanaan hingga tahap evaluasi.
