Abstract
Problem Statement/ Background: The implementation of good governance is a demand from the community so that an adequate, informative, transparent and accountable regional wealth management system is needed. Regional assets are an important component in regional financial management. The problem in managing regional assets is the administration or inventory of regional assets. There are major problems in managing regional assets, namely disorder in processing regional goods data, which causes difficulties for local governments to manage regional assets. Purpose: To research and analyze the strategies carried out by financial institutions and regional assets in managing regional assets so that an orderly administration can be realized. Method: This research is a qualitative descriptive with an inductive approach. Furthermore, the data collected using interview techniques, observation, documentation, triangulation and ASOCA analysis. In order to obtain data holistically and integratively, as well as pay attention to the relevance of data with objectives, in collecting data this study used three techniques offered, namely in-depth interviews, participant observation and document study. Result: The results of this study indicate that the strategy for managing regional assets in Poso district which is carried out by financial institutions and regional assets still has several obstacles, namely human resources. Conclusion: A strategy is needed that must be carried out by financial institutions and regional assets to overcome existing obstacles such as conducting outreach and training to every employee regarding regional asset management.
