Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): This research focuses on the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) at the Regional Disaster Management Agency of Palu City. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine how the implementation of OHS at the Regional Disaster Management Agency of Palu City. Method: This study used a descriptive qualitative research method with an inductive approach to see the extent to which the BPBD of Palu City implemented OHS. Data and information in this study were obtained from informants who could be trusted in providing information about the implementation of OHS at BPBD Palu City through interviews, documentation and direct observation in the field. Result: The results of this study indicate that the implementation of OSH at BPBD Palu City has not been fully implemented properly because there are still many factors inhibiting the implementation of OSH so that BPBD Palu City has not fulfilled all assessment indicators. Conclusion: The assessment indicators that have not been met have more numbers than the assessment indicators that have been met, causing the risk of work accidents and occupational diseases at BPBD Palu City to still be high. Keywords: Occupational Safety and Health, Work Accidents, Occupational Risks ABSTRAK Permasalaham/Latar Belakang (GAP): Penelitian ini berfokus pada penerapan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) pada Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah Kota Palu. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan K3 pada Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah Kota Palu. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekata induktif untuk melihat sejauh mana BPBD Kota Palu dalam menerapkan K3. Data dan informasi dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari informan yang dapat dipercaya dalam memberikan informasi mengenai penerapan K3 pada BPBD Kota Palu melalui wawancara, dokumentasi serta observasi langsung di lapangan. Hasil/Temuan: Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan K3 pada BPBD Kota Palu belum sepenuhnya diterapkan dengan baik sebab masih banyaknya faktor penghambat penerapan K3 sehingga BPBD Kota Palu belum memenuhi keseluruhan indikator penilaian. Kesimpulan: Indikator penilaian yang belum terpenuhi memiliki jumblah yang lebih banyak dibanding dengan indikator penilaian yang telah terpenuhi menyebabkan risiko kecelakaan kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja pada BPBD Kota Palu masih terbilang tinggi.
