Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP) : The author focuses on the problem of lack of public awareness in making Child Identity cards and making personal and family data so that they are recorded at the Office of the Population and Civil Registry Office of South Manokwari Regency. Purpose : The purpose of this study was to examine the implementation of the Pick Up Ball program at the South Manokwari Regency Population and Civil Registry Office, identify obstacles and provide suggestions for overcoming them. Methode : This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with an inductive approach and collects data through observation and interviews. Result : The results of the study show that although the South Manokwari Regency Population and Civil Registry Office has improved human resources and infrastructure, there are still some community members who are reluctant to record their population data, especially in the MCH and KTP services provided through the ball pick-up program. Conclusion : Therefore, the authors suggest increasing cooperation between government agencies and organizations related to children, as well as disseminating information about the benefits of Child Identity Cards to the general public. Keywords: Child ; Identity Card Service ; Implementation ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP) : Penulis berfokus pada permasalahan kurangnya kesadaran masyaraka di dalam membuat kartu Identitas Anak dan membuat data pribadi dan keluarga agar tercatat di Kantor Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Kabupaten Manokwari Selatan. Tujuan : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti pelaksanaan program Pick Up Ball di Kantor Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Kabupaten Manokwari Selatan, mengidentifikasi kendala dan memberikan usulan untuk mengatasinya. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan induktif dan mengumpulkan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil/Temuan : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Kantor Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Kabupaten Manokwari Selatan telah meningkatkan sumber daya manusia dan infrastruktur, masih ada beberapa anggota masyarakat yang enggan mencatat data kependudukan mereka, terutama dalam layanan MCH dan KTP yang disediakan melalui program ball pick-up. Kesimpulan : Oleh karena itu, penulis menyarankan untuk meningkatkan kerjasama antara lembaga pemerintah dan organisasi yang terkait dengan anak-anak, serta menyebarkan informasi tentang manfaat Kartu Identitas Anak kepada masyarakat umum.
