Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The author focuses on the problem of how much poverty continues to emerge in Semarang City due to the Covid-19 pandemic.. Purpose: To identify and analyze the inhibiting factors and the Semarang City government's efforts to address the inhibiting factors through the Durenan Indah Thematic Village program in Mangunharjo Village, Tembalang Subdistrict, Semarang City. Method: The research method used is descriptive qualitative research and with data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Result: From the research conducted by the author, the results obtained are empowerment through the Batik Durenen Thematic Village program has been carried out with maximum guidance in the human development dimension where the government provides socialization and training to the community, besides that there is also an environmental development, the government provides 200 million funds to improve the environment and infrastructure, institutional development has been running optimally, the community can cooperate with other parties to improve the quality of production and new batik motifs. Conclusion: With the Batik Durenan Indah Thematic Village Program carried out in Mangunharjo Village, it has been able to improve the welfare of the community, reduce poverty levels and assist the Mangunharjo Village Government in the development of the Durenan area. The government's efforts to improve community empowerment through the thematic village program by presenting the necessary facilities and infrastructure have been running. However, the results also show that there are shortcomings in the form of funding and promotion that are still not maximized in business development. Therefore, efforts need to be made in the form of providing training in the use of technology and management for the promotion of Batik Durenan Thematic Village through social media socialization by the Mangunharjo Village government.. Keywords: Community Empowerment, Thematic Village, Mangunharjo Village ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Penulis berfokus pada permasalahan tentang banyaknya kemiskinan yang terus bermunculan di Kota Semarang akibat pandemi Covid-19. Tujuan: mengetahui dan mengalisis faktor penghambat dan upaya pemerintah Kota Semarang dalam manangani faktor penghambat melalui program Kampung Tematik Durenan Indah di Kelurahan Mangunharjo Kecamatan Tembalang Kota Semarang. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dan dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara,, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil/Temuan: Dari penelitian yang dilakukan oleh penulis, hasil yang diperoleh adalah pemberdayaan melalui program Kampung Tematik Batik Durenen sudah dilakukan pembinaan dengan maksimal pada dimensi bina manusia dimana pemerintah memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan terhadap masyarakat, selain itu juga ada bina lingkungan pemerintah memberikan dana 200 juta untuk perbaikan lingkungan dan sarana prasarana, bina kelembagaan sudah berjalan dengan maksimal masyarakat dapat bekerja sama dengan pihak lain guna untuk meningkatkan kualitas produksi dan motif batik yang baru. Kesimpulan: Dengan adanya Program Kampung Tematik Batik Durenan Indah yang dilakukan di Kelurahan Mangunharjo telah mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, menekan tingkat kemiskinan serta membantu Pemerintah Kelurahan Mangunharjo dalam pembangunan wilayah durenan. Upaya pemerintah untuk meningkatkan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui program kampung tematik dengan menghadirkan saran dan prasaran yang dibutuhkan serta sudah berjalannya. Akan tetapi, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kekurangan berupa pendanaan serta promosi yang masih belum maksimal pada bina usaha. Dengan begitu, perlu dilakukan upaya berupa pengadaan perlatihan pemanfaatan teknologi serta manajemen untuk promosi Kampung Tematik Batik Durenan melalui sosialisasi media sosial oleh pemerintah Kelurahan Mangunharjo.
