Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pemberdayaan kelompok seni tari yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Belitung khususnya di Kecamatan Sijuk dalam mengembangkan budaya lokal, untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat pemberdayaan kelompok seni tari dalam pengembangan budaya lokal di Kecamatan Sijuk oleh Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Belitung serta upaya Dinas Pariwisata dalam mengatasi faktor penghambat pemberdayaan kelompok seni tari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan induktif, Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberdayaan kelompok seni tari yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Belitung sudah berjalan dengan baik namun dalam prosesnya masih memiliki kendala karena kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat tersebut untuk menjaga kelestarian budaya lokal dan alokasi dana yang belum bisa mengakomodir seluruh sanggar seni tari yang ada. Kata Kunci : Pemberdayaan, Seni Tari, Dinas Pariwisata, Pengembangan, Budaya Lokal ABSTRACT This study aims to find out how the empowerment of dance groups is carried out by the Belitung Regency Tourism Office, especially in Sijuk District in developing local culture, to find out the supporting factors and inhibiting factors for the empowerment of arts groups in developing local culture in Sijuk District by the Belitung Regency Tourism Office and efforts The Department of Tourism in overcoming inhibiting factors in the empowerment of dance groups. The research method used is qualitative research with descriptive methods and inductive approaches. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the empowerment of dance groups carried out by the Belitung Regency Tourism Office has gone well, but in the process there are still problems due to the lack of awareness of the community to preserve local culture and the allocation of funds that have not been able to accommodate all existing dance studios.
