Abstract

Pengembangan merupakan bagian dari lingkup pembangunan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Pengembangan pariwisata merupakan suatu usaha dalam memajukan objek wisata agar lebih menarik dan lebih diminati yang dapat dilihat dari apa yang ada didalamnya untuk menarik para pengunjung. Berdasarkan penelitian yang tengah dilakukan tentang pengembangan objek wisata yang berada di lingkup Kabupaten Buton Utara. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis Pengembangan Objek Wisata Pantai Membuku serta apa saja hambatannya. Oleh karena itu penulis angkat dengan judul “PENGEMBANGAN OBJEK WISATA PANTAI MEMBUKU OLEH DINAS PERIWISATA DI KECAMATAN KULISUSU KABUPATEN BUTON UTARA PROVINSI SULAWESI TENGGARA”. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Data yang diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan terhadap apa yang didapatkan dilapangan. Teori pengembangan pariwisata yang digunakan yaitu James J Spillane (1994) yang memiliki beberapa dimensi, yaitu: Attractions (daya tarik), Facilities (fasilitas-fasilitas yang diperlukan), infrastructure (infrastruktur), Transportations (transportasi), Hospitality (keramahtamahan). Hasil analisis Pengembangan Objek Wisata Pantai Membuku oleh Dinas Pariwisata telah melakukan pengembangan bersama pihak masyarakat seperti pengembangan sarana dan prasarana namun belum optimal. Pengembangan objek wisata Pantai Membuku juga dipengaruhi oleh beberapa hambatan seperti fasilitas masih kurang, keterbatasan dana, dan pengaruh dari pasca pandemi. Adapun saran dari penulis adalah melakukan peningkatan fasilitas sarana dan prasarana, memperhatikan lagi keadaan jalan dan pelayanan transportasi. Tourism development is an effort to advance tourist objects to make them more attractive and more desirable, which can be seen from what is in them to attract visitors. Based on research that is currently being carried out regarding the development of tourist objects within the scope of North Buton Regency. The research was conducted with the aim of describing and analyzing the Development of Membuku Beach Tourism Objects and what are the obstacles. Therefore the authors adopted the title "DEVELOPMENT OF BOOKED BEACH TOURISM OBJECTS BY THE TOURISM DEPARTMENT IN KULISUSU DISTRICT, NORTH BUTON DISTRICT, SOUTHEAST SULAWESI PROVINCE". In this study the method used is descriptive qualitative. Data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions from what is obtained in the field. The theory of tourism development used is James J Spillane (1994) which has several dimensions, namely: Attractions, Facilities, Infrastructure, Transportation, Hospitality. The results of the analysis of the Development of Membuku Beach Tourism Object by the Tourism Office have carried out joint developments with the community such as the development of facilities and infrastructure but have not been optimal. The development of the Membuku Beach tourist attraction is also influenced by several obstacles such as the lack of facilities, limited funds, and post-pandemic influences. The suggestion from the author is to improve facilities and infrastructure, pay more attention to the condition of roads and transportation services. Keywords: development, Tourism, Membuku Beach
