Abstract

Problems/Background(GAP): The industrial sector is one of several very good potentials for continuous development in order to improve people's welfare. Empowerment of the small troso weaving industry in Troso Village, Pecangaan District, Jepara Regency is one of the local wisdoms and supports the community's economy with the absorption of labor and the attraction of weaving using ATBM for Jepara Regency in attracting tourists. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the empowerment of the small troso weaving industry, supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as efforts that can be made to overcome the inhibiting factors in empowering the small troso weaving industry in Troso Village, Pecangaan District, Jepara Regency, Central Java Province. Methods: This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method with an inductive approach. Result/Findings: The results of this study indicate that empowering small troso weaving industries can encourage troso weaving business actors to improve and develop their businesses by increasing productivity. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that the empowerment of the Troso weaving small industry has been carried out by the Department of Industry and Trade of Jepara Regency. However, there are a number of things that need to be emphasized in the process of empowering small troso weaving industries, namely the reduced number of troso weaving craftsmen, there are still socialization or activities that have not been carried out such as socialization of intellectual property rights, the absence of a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), and the inactivity of several organizations. or community groups regarding troso weaving. Key Words: troso weaving small industry, empowerment, welfare. Permasalahan/Latar Belakang(GAP): Sektor industri merupakan salah satu dari beberapa potensi yang sangat bagus untuk terus dilakukan pengembangan dalam rangka peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Pemberdayaan industri kecil tenun troso di Desa Troso Kecamatan Pecangaan Kabupaten Jepara merupakan salah satu kearifan lokal dan penopang perekonomian masyarakat dengan adanya penyerapan tenaga kerja dan daya tarik menenun menggunakan ATBM bagi Kabupaten Jepara dalam menarik wisatawan. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan ini untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pemeberdayaan industri kecil tenun troso, faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi faktor penghambat dalam pemberdayaan industri kecil tenun troso di Desa Troso Kecamatan Pecangaan Kabupaten Jepara Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan secara induktif. Hasil/Temuan: Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pemberdayaan industri kecil tenun troso dapat mendorong para pelaku usaha tenun troso untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan usahanya dengan meningkatkan produktifitas. Kesimpulan: Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan industri kecil tenun troso telah dilakukan oleh Dinas Perindustrin dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Jepara. Namun, terdapat beberapa hal yang perlu ditekankan dalam proses pemberdayaan industri kecil tenun troso yaitu berkurangnya jumlah perajin tenun troso, masih terdapat sosialisasi atau kegiatan yang belum terlaksana seperti sosialisasi HaKI, belum adanya Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah (IPAL), dan masih belum aktifnya beberapa organisasi atau kelompok masyarakat mengenai tenun troso.
