Abstract

Building a digitalization for ASN in realizing the Metaverse City concept based on Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence which aims to advance Makassar as a world city by providing insight into the use of technology for ASN as a foundation for role models for the people of Makassar City. Purpose: to analyze and describe how ASN competence in building a digital literacy culture is described in aspects of the DQ Institute Competency Components namely: Skill, Knowledge and Attitude. Method: A qualitative research method with a descriptive approach that explores ASN literacy culture information within the Makassar City Diskominfo scope. Descriptive reinforcement using data triangulation. Result: The description of the digitalization shows the fact that ASN competence is able to manage information according to needs, employees have a high ability to adapt to digitalization culture, ASN understand how netiquette interacts in digital space-based work patterns in the digitalization reform era and has become a milestone in the success of the Metaverse City concept in Makassar. Conclusion: The outline of this research is based on the Unesco concept of digital literacy competency, the ASN Diskominfo Makassar City is capable of adapting to digitalization in public services and participating in digitalbased service innovations.
