Abstract

Problems Statement/Background (GAP): This research is based on the fact that there are many Population and Civil Registration Services throughout Indonesia that still have problems finalizing the scope of ownership of death certificates and the upcoming 2024 general election where accurate death data is needed. Purpose: This study aims to find out the steps that have been taken by the Badung Regency Population and Civil Registry Service in completing the coverage of death certificate ownership each year, so that these successful steps can become a role model in the registration of death certificates throughout Indonesia. Method: The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method. Data was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. Results: The findings that the researcher found while carrying out the research were that the Badung Regency Population and Civil Registration Service applied a method, namely the completion of death certificates starting from the bottom, by moving the head of the neighborhood who recorded directly the deaths in his environment both within and outside the country , besides that there is a website "akudicari" which makes it easier for the public to record death certificates. It is enough to come to the village office and do not need to go directly to the Dukcapil Office. Conclusion: Based on the research that has been carried out, the author concludes that based on the dimensions in the management theory that the author used in this research on the steps of the Badung Regency Dukcapil Service in completing the coverage of death certificate ownership and with the management function, this theory has shown that the Dukcapil service completes ownership well, besides that the Badung Regency Dukcapil Office can also hold meetings or seminars and formulate journals related to success in recording death certificates and distributing them in print and social media. Keywords: Steps, Management, Population Administration, Akudicari Website 2 ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Penelitian ini dilandasi oleh banyaknya Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil di seluruh Indonesia yang masih memiliki permasalahan dalam penuntasan cakupan kepemilikan akta kematian ditambah akan adanya pemilihan umum tahun 2024 yang dimana kecermatan data kematian sangat diperlukan. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui langkah yang telah dilakukan Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Badung dalam tuntasnya cakupan kepemilikan akta kematian setiap tahunnya, agar langkah sukses tersebut dapat menjadi role model dalam pencatatan akta kematian seluruh Indonesia. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil/Temuan: Temuan yang peneliti dapati selama melaksanakan penelitian yaitu Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Badung menerapkan cara yaitu penuntasan akta kematian yang dimulai dari bawah, dengan cara menggerakan kepala lingkungan yang mencatat dan mendata langsung kematian yang ada di lingkungannya baik dalam maupun luar negeri, disamping itu adanya website “akudicari” yang memudahkan masyarakat untuk melakukan pencatatan akta kematian yang cukup datang ke kantor desa dan tidak perlu ke Dinas Dukcapil langsung. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa berdasarkan dimensi dalam teori manajemen yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini terhadap langkah Dinas Dukcapil Kabupaten Badung dalam penuntasan cakupan kepemilikan akta kematian serta dengan fungsi manajemen, teori tersebut telah menunjukan bahwa dinas dukcapil melakukan penuntasan kepemilikan dengan baik, disamping itu Dinas Dukcapil Kabupaten Badung pula dapat melakukan pertemuan atau seminar serta merumuskan jurnal terkait keberhasilan dalam pencatatan akta kematian dan membagikan di media cetak maupun media sosial Kata Kunci: Langkah, Manajemen, Administrasi Kependudukan, Website Akudicari
