Abstract
ABSTRAK Skripsi ini berjudul “ANALISIS PEMBERDAYAAN ANAK JALANAN OLEH DINAS SOSIAL KOTA PALEMBANG PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN MELALUI PENDEKATAN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT” Tujuan penulisan skripsi ini untuk memperoleh deskripsi serta informasi tentang pemberdayaan yang dilakukan Dinas Sosial Kota Palembang dalam melaksanakan pemberdayaan anak jalanan dan faktor apa saja yang membuat anak jalanan kembali ke jalanan serta agar peneliti memperoleh informasi faktor terkait faktor penghambat dalam pelaksanaan pemberdayaan oleh Dinas Sosial dan agar peneliti memperoleh deksripsi serta informasi tentang upaya dalam mengatasi factor penghambat pemberdayaan anak jalanan oleh Dinas Sosial.Tujuan dari pnilitian ini agarpenulis memperoleh deskripsi terkait kegiatan pemberdayaan apa saja yang dilaksanaka oleh dinas sosial dan untuk mengetahui apa saja factor penghambat yang di dapatkan oleh dinas sosial selama di lapangan. Maka penulis menganalisis permaslahan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan induktif, dalam pengumpulan data penulis menggunakan Teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan penulis pada tahun 2023 di Dinas Sosial Kota Palembang Provinsi Sumatera Selatan.Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan pemberdayaan yang dilaksanakan oleh Dinas Sosial Kota Palembang melalui pendekatan Comunnity Development belum berjalan dan terselenggara dengan baik dan maksimal.dan didapati ada beberapa faktor penghambat yang di temui yang menyebabkan penyelenggaraan pemberdayaan yang dilaksanakan oleh dinas sosial belum maksimal. Kata Kunci : pemberdayaan, Anak Jalanan, Dinas Sosial, Community development ABSTRACT This thesis is entitled “ANALYSIS OF STREET CHILDREN’S EMPOWERMENT BY THE SOCIAL SERVICE OF PALEMBANG CITY, SOUTH SUMATERA PROVINCE THROUGH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT APPROACH” The purpose of writing this thesis is to obtain a description and information about the empowetment carried out by the Social Service Office of Palembang City in implementing the empowerment of street children and what factors make street children returm to the streets and for reserchers to obtain information on factors related to the inhibiting factors in the implementation of empowerment by the Social Service and so that researches obtain descry[tion and information about efforts to overcome the inhibiting factors for empowering street children by the Social Service. Inhibiting factors obtained by social service while in the field. So the authors analyzed this problem using a descriptive qualitative method with an inductive approach in collecting the author’s data using interview, observation, and documentation techniques caried out by the author in 2023 at the Social Service Office of Palembang City, South Sumatera Province. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of empowerment activities carried our by The Social Service Office of the City of Palembang, through the Community Development approach, has not been implemented well and optimally and it was found that there werw several inhibiting factors that caused the implementation of empowermwnt carried out by the social service to be not optimal.
