Abstract
ABSTRACT (in english) Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The implementation of budget management has not been carried out according to ideal accounting procedures, on the other hand it shows that the guidance and internal control carried out by the Regional Inspectorate of Katingan Regency, Central Kalimantan Province has also not been optimal. The problems that stand out internally and also influence the performance of the Inspectorate's oversight function are related to the supervisory abilities possessed by Inspectorate employees who are still not optimal. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to find out, analyze and describe the effectiveness of the use of the Management Information System Follow-Up Examination Results (SIMTLHP) at the Inspectorate of Katingan Regency, Central Kalimantan Province, the inhibiting factors and efforts to overcome and optimize them. Method: This study used a qualitative research design with descriptive methods and inductive approaches. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. In this study, the informants were determined through purposive and snowball sampling techniques. The data analysis technique is carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Result: The results of the research were analyzed using the theory of Effectiveness according to Duncan in Steers (1985) which consists of 3 (three) dimensions, namely goal attainment, adaptation and indicators which show that the Management Information System Follow-Up of Examination Results is very effective and efficient in terms of indicators designed to achieve indicators namely Target Achievement, Adaptation, and Integration. The Katingan Regency Inspectorate has carried out the use of SIMLHTP properly but has not run optimally because there are several obstacles including budget constraints/technical guidance costs and the availability of human resources. Conclusion: the implementation of the Management Information System Follow-up on Examination Results was very effective and efficient in terms of indicators designed to achieve indicators namely Target Achievement, Adaptation, and Integration, but several obstacles still remained. In order to overcome the obstacles experienced, it is suggested that the Regional Inspectorate of Katingan Regency increase the number of human resources, especially in the field of Management Information System Admin Follow-Up of Examination Results who are competent in the field of Information Technology and also renew training resources for Inspectorate staff and promote them through social media.
