Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): Every regency in Indonesia certainly desires a condition of its urban area to be orderly, clean, and beautiful. Likewise, DemakRegency wants the same. In order to achieve orderliness, cleanliness, and beauty inthe urban area of Demak Regency, the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) andEnvironmental Agency (DinLH) work together in synergy to realize it. Satpol PPis responsible for ensuring that the community is orderly, while DinLH plays a role inmaintaining the cleanliness and beauty of the city. Therefore, the synergy betweenSatpol PP and DinLH is necessary to achieve an orderly, beautiful, and clean urbanarea in Demak Regency. Purpose: This study aims to describe and analyze the forms of synergy between Satpol PP and DinLH in realizing orderliness, cleanliness, andbeauty in the urban area of Demak Regency, as well as to describe and analyze thefactors that hinder the synergy between Satpol PP and DinLH in realizing orderliness, cleanliness, and beauty in the urban area of Demak Regency. Method: This studyuses a qualitative descriptive method with an inductive approach, and uses observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Result: The results of this study indicate that the synergy between Satpol PP and DinLH in realizing orderliness, cleanliness, and beauty in the urban area of Demak Regency, Central Java Province, is not yet optimal. Nevertheless, the ef orts made by Satpol PP and DinLHto achieveorderliness, cleanliness, and beauty deserve appreciation, considering the limitations they faced. Satpol PP and DinLH have also tried to communicate in various ways. Inaddition, these two agencies have also coordinated to achieve their goals. Conclusion: The conclusion from this research is that the synergy between Satpol PP and DinLHstill needs to be improved. Keywords: Synergy, Orderliness, Cleanliness, Beauty. ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Setiap kabupaten yang ada di Indonesiapasti menginginkan kondisi wilayah perkotaannya tertib, bersih, dan juga indah. Begitupun dengan Kabupaten Demak yang menginginkan hal tersebut. Dalamrangkamewujudkan ketertiban, kebersihan, dan juga keindahan pada wilayah perkotaanKabupaten Demak, maka Satpol PP dengan DinLH bersinergi mewujudkan itu. Satpol PP bertugas menjaga agar masyarakat dapat tertib, sedangkan DinLH berperan untukmenjaga kebersihan dan keindahan kota. Oleh sebab itu sinergitas antara Satpol PPdengan DinLH sangat diperlukan guna mewujudkan wilayah perkotaan Kabupaten Demak yang tertib, indah, dan juga bersih. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmendeskripsikan dan menganalisa bentuk sinergitas yang dilakukan Satpol PP denganDinLH dalam mewujudkan ketertiban, kebersihan, dan keindahan wilayah perkotaanKabupaten Demak, serta untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis faktor penghambat sinergitas yang dilakukan oleh Satpol PP dengan DinLH dalam dalammewujudkanketertiban, kebersihan, dan keindahan wilayah perkotaan Kabupaten Demak. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan induktif, serta menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil/Temuan: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan sinergitas Satpol PP dengan DinLHdalammewujudkan ketertiban, kebersihan, dan keindahan wilayah perkotaan KabupatenDemak Provinsi Jawa Tengah belum maksimal, meskipun begitu perlu diapresiasi usaha yang dilakukan Satpol PP dan DinLH guna mewujudkan ketertiban, kebersihan, dan keindahan. Hal ini sebab Satpol PP dan DinLH telah berupaya sebisa mungkindengan segala keterbatasan yang ada. Satpol PP dan DinLH juga sudah berusahamelakukan komunikasi dengan berbagai cara. Selain itu juga kedua instansi ini jugasudah koordinasi guna mewujudkan hal tersebut. Kesimpulan: Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yakni sinergitas Satpol PP dengan DinLH masih harus ditingkatkan.
