Abstract

Problem Statement/Background (GAP): Lampung Province Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) is able to organize public services and information disclosure based on Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure. Purpose: This study aims to determine the performance that has been carried out by PPID in the openness of public information services in Lampung Province. Method: This study used descriptive method that aims to convey an elaborative information, the facts that have been studied and a detailed description of what has been studied. As well as conducting observations, interviews and documentation in data collection techniques, not only that, researchers use Agus Dwiyanto's theory which has dimensions of productivity, service quality, responsiveness, responsibility and accountability. Result: The findings obtained by the authors in this study are that the performance of PPID in Lampung Province has been optimal and has also succeeded in getting an award from the Central Information Commission of the Republic of Indonesia which has awarded an Award Charter in the 2022 Public Agency Information Disclosure category stipulating that the Lampung Provincial Government is an Informative Public Agency and Communication Service , Informatics and Statistics of Lampung Province as a Public Agency that cares about public information disclosure. Conclusion: Even though there are obstacles where there is a lack of coordination and cooperation between operators from several OPDs, all of this will become material for re-evaluation. Lampung Province Informatics and Statistics Communication Service strives to continue to hold regular meetings to make communication even better in the future, increase human resources in the use of technology and socialize electronic-based government programs to all operators who are responsible for each OPD, even socializing also to the public in using and educating what are the useful functions of various government websites.
