Abstract
Problem Statement/Background (GAP): This research is motivated by the existence of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia, which requires the government's efforts to handle it. Along with the emergence of the coorna virus at this time, the SATPOL PP also has an important role in bringing order t the communiy in the area so that they are disciplined in crarrying out health protocols. Purpose: This research was conducted to determine the role of the Civil Service Police Unit in efforts to enforce the COVID-19 Health Protocol, to find out what obstacles were faced and efforts to overcome these obstacles. Method: The research method used is descriptive qualitative method with an inductive approach. Data collection techniques are interviews, documentation, observation. Result: There are several obstacles in carrying out their duties both from internal factors and external factors. Conclusion: The results of the study indicate that the Civil Service Police Unit has an important role in efforts to control the COVID-19 health protocol in Teluk Bintuni Regency and has carried out its duties well. The efforts made by the Civil Service Police Unit in controlling the COVID-19 Health Protocol in Teluk Bintuni Regency are to disseminate information about hoax news about COVID-19 circulating and coordinate with the Regent regarding sanctions that must be imposed on people who violate the Health Protocol.
