Abstract

Covid-19 first appeared in Wuhan, China at the end of 2019. The spread of COVID-19 is happening rapidly in all corners of the world including Indonesia. The increasing number of Positive Cases has made the government issue several regulations regarding the implementation of the Health Protocol discipline as an effort to prevent and control the Covid-19 virus. 19 in this case the Civil Service Police Unit has the task of supervising health protocols. The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of the Health Protocol carried out by the civil service police unit in Jayapura Regency, the inhibiting factors and efforts to overcome them. This research uses Robbin and Coulter's supervisory theory in Satriadi (2016). The research method in this study used a qualitative descriptive method by providing an overview of facts and data that occurred in the field through data collection, namely interviews and documentation. Data observation techniques were interviews, documentation, and observations. The data analysis technique used is an interactive model by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the Civil Service Police Unit is an important key in monitoring the CovId-19 Health Protocol in Jayapura Regency and has been going well by looking at the Covid-19 number in Jayapura Regency. There are several obstacles in the implementation of both internal and external factors. The efforts made by the Civil Service Police Unit in supervising the implementation of the Covid-19 health protocol in Jayapura Regency are conducting further socialization and providing hoax news that is spread and sanctions in accordance with the applicable Regent Regulation.
