Abstract

Problem (GAP): the author focuses on the problem of implementing Work From Home experiencing a reduction in the workforce in the office. If one division experiences a shortage of manpower because the employee is working from home, the other division participates in the work completion process. Then the use of technology that sometimes experiences problems when used in reporting activities while on duty at home and also some devices at work that are not at home, so that only employees who have an official schedule in the office can do certain jobs. Purpose: To find out how effective the implementation of Work From Home for Civil Servants during the Covid�19 pandemic is at the Serdang Bedagai Youth, Sports, Tourism and Culture Office. Methods: This research uses a qualitative research design with descriptive methods and inductive approaches. Sources of data using primary and secondary data sources. Techniques Data collection is done using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques were obtained through data reduction, data presentation, verification and drawing conclusions. Results/Findings: The results show that the implementation of WFH in DISPORAPARBUD is still less effective due to a decrease in work performance at DISPORAPARBUD Serdang Bedagai, there are still things that need to be improved such as supervision carried out by the leadership on the work of employees, availability of supporting tools for work from home. and how older employees use technology. Conclusion: The implementation of Work From Home during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Youth Service, Sports, Tourism and Culture, Serdang Bedagai Regency, the implementation has not been effective in terms of implementing work from home, the efforts made to adapt to the work from home system are good but the supervision carried out by the leadership is still felt not enough.
