Abstract
Problem (GAP): the author focuses on There are still many people in Sintang district who do not understand the Sintang district regulations regarding the arrangement of street vendors, so there are still many street vendors who still sell in places that they shouldn't. The Inpres Market is not yet orderly in selling, even though the Inpres market has provided stalls for traders by the Sintang Regency Government. Purpose: To analyze the performance of Satpol PP in controlling street vendors (PKL) in Sintang Regency, West Kalimantan Province. Methods: This study uses qualitative research with descriptive methods and inductive approaches. Using informants as primary data sources as well as laws and regulations, document archives and previous research journals related to research conducted by researchers as secondary data sources. Results/Findings: The result of this study is that in the process of taking action against street vendors in Sintang Regency, the Civil Service Police Unit still has several shortcomings. Among them are the lack of support for facilities and infrastructure owned by the Civil Service Police Unit in taking action, the quality and limitations of human resources that are not in accordance with the needs in the process of carrying out tasks in the field. This is due to the insufficient budget allocation given that the focus of the Sintang Regency government is emphasized on the COVID-19 handling sector, of course there is a budget reallocation centered on the health sector. Conclusion: In the process of cracking down on street vendors in Sintang District, the Civil Service Police Unit, there are still some shortcomings so that until now the control has not been said to be effective and efficient which can be seen from the data that the number of street vendors in Sintang district is always increasing every year.
