Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic has brought changes to the entire order of life, one of which is the implementation of the policy for evaluating the performance of civil servants in the West Banjarmasin District in implementing the policy on the performance appraisal of Civil Servants in the pandemic era. This change has caused many obstacles and even problems in implementing the policy, such as the service process that takes a longer duration so that it is not effective, some work target achievements have decreased, and the procedures for providing services in the Covid-19 pandemic era are not successful. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the implementation of the performance appraisal policy for Civil Servants during the Covid-19 pandemic era, the supporting and inhibiting factors as well as the efforts made to overcome the inhibiting factors. The research design used is qualitative research using descriptive methods through an inductive approach. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation and documentation.
