Abstract
ABSTRACT Problems (GAP): not yet implemented trainings in building attitudes and characters that have high integrity, are professional, neutral and free from political intervention, are free from KKN practices and also have a high sense of responsibility to be owned by government employees with work agreements (PPPK). Purpose: This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the performance of contract employees at the agency and human resource development Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Method: The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with an inductive approach. Data collection techniques through interviews and documentation, as well as data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification. Results/Findings: The results of the study indicate that the Effectiveness of Contract Employee Performance at the Kendari City Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency has been going well although there is still staff indiscipline towards punctuality, there is no training in improving skills and knowledge, as well as a lack of budget for contract employees in ensuring the welfare and facilities of contract employees. Conclusion: The effectiveness of the performance of contract employees at the Kendari City staffing and human resource development agency has been carried out properly and optimally in terms of productivity, work adaptability, job satisfaction, profitability and resource seeking as a measure of the effectiveness of contract employee performance.
