Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem/Background (GAP): Prevention of the spread of Covid-19 needs to be done in an integrated manner among stakeholders. In this context, the performance of the Pematangsiantar City Civil Service Police Unit plays an important role. This Pematangsiantar City Civil Service Unit is under the Regional Government Organization to achieve prosperity towards the new normal. Objectives: This study aims to identify and describe the Implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PPKM) Policies in Handling Corona Virus Disease 2019 by the Civil Service Police Unit in Pematangsiantar City, namely what are the programs of policies taken in dealing with and overcoming problems in implementing PPKM policies in Pematangsiantar City. Methods: In this study using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach where researchers collect data through interviews, observation and documentation. Results/Findings: The results showed that the performance of the Pematangsiantar City Civil Service Police Unit was good. The community satisfaction index related to the services provided is also sufficient. However, there are still things that need to be improved and developed further. The problem that often occurs in the field is the lack of public awareness of implementing the applicable health protocols. Conclusion: The performance of the Pematangsiantar City Civil Service Police Unit in enforcing health protocols is considered good, the community satisfaction index related to the services provided is also quite good.
