Abstract
Problem Statement/Background(GAP): The low regional original income (PAD) of Merauke Regency has resulted in the high level of dependence of the regional government on transfer funds from the central government . Purpose: This study aims to determine the level of regional financial capacity of Merauke Regency in supporting the implementation of regional autonomy during the 5and to determine the fact year budget period seen from financial ratio analysis ors that affect the regional financial capacity and the efforts made in order to improve the regional financial capacity. Method: The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with an inductive approach. The data used in this study is the Mer auke Regency APBD Realization Report as secondary data and the results of interviews from Merauke Regency BPKAD officials as primary data. Data analysis uses data reduction analysis methods, data presentation, data description through financial ratio analyyear budget period, namely from 2016 Keywo rds: sis: the ratio of the degree of fiscal decentralization, the ratio of financial independence, the ratio of regional financial dependence, and the ratio of the effectiveness of local revenue management, and drawing conclusions. Result: at the level of ability.
