Abstract
Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The author focuses on the lack of promotion of tourist attractions which can lead to at least tourist information obtained by tourists about the potential of the region's wizards. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the implementation of policies in the development of tourist attractions in the city of Bengkulu. Method: This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with an inductive approach and analysis of implementation according to Frank Fischer's Theory. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview (10 informants), observation and documentation. Result: The findings obtained by the authors in this study are still limited knowledge of human resources (staff), limited tourism development budget (financial resources), inadequate facilities and infrastructure (facility resources). Conclusions: The implementation of the policy for developing tourist attractions in Bengkulu City has not been optimal because the objectives of the policy based on the Bengkulu City Regional Regulation Number 6 of 2016 concerning the Implementation of Regional Tourism, especially in the process of developing tourist attractions in the City of Bengkulu. In order to improve the implementation of tourism attraction development policies in Bengkulu City, it is suggested that the Bengkulu City Tourism Office needs to improve the quality of human resources, promote or re-socialize existing tourist objects, provide and replace new facilities and infrastructure, prepare trash bins at locations strategic location for visitors.
