Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): good employee performance is the main capital to build a good bureaucracy. To improve employee performance, there needs to be a balance between quality and quantity as well as the competence of existing employees, the workload given to employees must be in accordance with their education, knowledge, abilities and expertise. One way to achieve this is through good job placement. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify and describe the implementation of job analysis in the placement of civil servants in the Regional Human Resources Development Agency of East Nusa Tenggara Province. Method: This research is a qualitative research and uses a descriptive method with an inductive approach where the informants in this study were determined through purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used in this research is to use interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Result: From the implementation of this research, it can be seen that the placement of positions in employees at the Regional Human Resources Development Agency of East Nusa Tenggara Province has been carried out but has not been in accordance with the competencies of the employees. Conclusion: From the implementation of this research, it can be seen that the placement of positions in employees at the Regional Human Resources Development Agency of East Nusa Tenggara Province has been carried out but has not been in accordance with the competencies of the employees. This is because there is still a mismatch between the workload given and the educational qualifications and work experience of the employees as well as the uncontrolled turnover intensity of the new workforce, which affects the productivity of performance at the Regional Human Resources Development Agency of East Nusa Tenggara Province or even decreases. Efforts are being made to look at the recruitment process so that employees are recruited according to their needs. Keywords: Relationship, Work Placement, Employee Perfomance
