Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem/Background (GAP): (Contains the background behind the research). The author focuses on the problems experienced by the community related to the effectiveness of Drive-Thru services in retrieving population documents at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Bogor City, West Java Province. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Drive-Thru service in retrieving population documents at the Department of Population and Civil Registration, Bogor City, West Java Province. Methods: The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research to describe the actual phenomenon of events in the field. Data collection techniques using interviews, observations and documents related to research. Results/Findings: The results of this study indicate that the Drive-Thru service in document retrieval has been running effectively although it is not yet optimal, the obstacles in this Drive-Thru service are the level of human resource capacity that is still lacking in information technology and service operators, infrastructure conditions it is good but the network connection is still limited, the procedure for using Si Kancil services in making population documents has not been socialized completely and thoroughly. The efforts made are improving the quality of human resources, limiting the number of submissions, conducting socialization, cooperating with third parties. Conclusion: The effectiveness of the Drive-Thru Service in retrieval of population documents at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Bogor City has been going well because the number of queues that have arisen due to services has decreased to 65%, but still needs to be optimized because there are still indicators that have not been met. The effectiveness of the Drive-Thru Service in retrieval of population documents at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Bogor City was analyzed using the effectiveness theory of Gibson et al. and Steers in Sumaryadi which has 5 dimensions, namely: Productivity, quality and quality, efficiency, flexibility, and satisfaction concluded that it has been implemented well, but on the productivity dimension there are still obstacles, namely the work quantity indicator.
