Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The comparison between the number of residents moving in and the residents applying for a moving statement is not appropriate. Purpose: This study aims to know the effectiveness of the population administration information system in the issuance of incoming moving documents in Batam City. Method: This study uses qualitative deskriptive methods with inductive approach. Data collection techniques using interview, observation and documentation. Analysis of the effectiveness according to Gibson Et Al Theory. Result: The findings are The Population Administration Information System (SIAK) in the transfer letter has been running well although there are still shortcomings. Conclusion: The effectiveness of SIAK in incoming transfer letters is fairly good and effective, even though there are shortcomings such as network disturbances. Keywords: Effectiveness, SIAK, Migrant Population ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Perbandingan antara jumlah penduduk pindah datang dengan penduduk yang mengajukan surat keterangan pindah datang tidak sesuai. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan Sistem Informasi Administrasi Kependudukan (SIAK) Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil dalam pelayanan penerbitan dokumen Surat Keterangan Pindah Datang di Kota Batam. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan Desain Penelitian Kualitatif dengan Metode Deskriptif dan Pendekatan Induktif. Teknik Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini memakai teori Efektivitas oleh Gibson Et Al. Hasil/Temuan: Temuan yang diperoleh penulis dalam penelitian ini yaitu Sistem Informasi Administrasi Kependudukan (SIAK) dalam surat pindah datang sudah berjalan baik walaupun masih ada kekurangan. Kesimpulan: Efektifitas SIAK dalam surat pindah datang terbilang baik dan efektif walaupun terdapat kekurangan seperti gangguan jaringan. Kata kunci: Efektivitas, SIAK, Surat Pindah Datang
