Abstract
ABSTRACK The administration of population administration in Indonesia has changed from time to time which aims to support the acceleration of the population to have population documents. One form of population administration is the identity card or KTP, a program launched to support the digitization of conventional ID cards into e-KTPs, one of which is by creating the Indonesian Administrative Awareness Movement (GISA) which aims to provide convenience for people who are constrained or find it difficult to manage needs for population administration which includes the management of e-KTP in it. This study aims to determine how the performance of the Population and Civil Registration Service in the e-KTP service, the method used in this study is a qualitative method with an inductive approach. The technique used in this research is observation, interview and documentation. The selection of informants was done by criterion-based selection and snowball sampling. The analysis technique is data reduction, presentation, and then drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research conducted, the researchers concluded that the implementation of the e-KTP service at the Department of Population and Civil Registration, Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province, has been going very well, seen from the dimensions of productivity, responsiveness, responsibility, and accountability, although it still requires efforts to maximize implementation in dimensions of service quality. Suggestions that can be submitted by the author is to increase the speed of the network used by the Office of Population and Civil Registration in order to reduce the risk of obstacles or problems in the issuance of e-KTP or other population documents.
