Abstract
Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The author focuses on the problem of implementing the Population Census which was first conducted online in 2020. The Population Census is a population data collection program that is held once every 10 years, in 2020 it is the 7th implementation of the Population Census whose implementation is different from the implementation of the Population Census which is held once every 10 years. Previously, it was carried out completely online throughout Indonesia, including the Minahasa Regency, which was carried out by the Central Statistics Agency for the Minahasa Regency. Purpose : This study aims to find out how the online population census is carried out in Minahasa district, the factors that support and hinder its implementation and efforts to overcome the obstacles. Method : This study uses a qualitative research method, then the theory used in this study is the theory proposed by Sutarto. Techniques in collecting data used are observation, interviews and documentation. Then the data analysis technique uses information collection techniques, data reduction and data presentation and conclusion drawing. Result : The results obtained from the implementation of this research point to the dimensions of the registration system, work procedures and service assessments that exist in the Implementation of the 2020 Online Population Census in Minahasa Regency effectively. Conclusion : The implementation of the 2020 Population Census Online is basically its good but needs to be improved in the next implementation. There are various challenges, for example public awareness in the implementation of the population census. The researcher provides suggestions for an approach to the community, sustainable socialization so that a better Population Census activity occurs in accordance with existing regulations.
