Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem/Background (GAP): the author focuses on the Effectiveness of Public Information Dissemination through the Media Website @kepyapenkab.go.id in the Yapen Islands Regency in increasing public knowledge of every activity carried out by the government to the community and government administration activities in the Yapen Islands Regency until 2022 still not effective. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the @kepyapenkab.go.id website as a public media managed by public relations in delivering information to the public, what are the obstacles faced by the government in disseminating information in the Yapen archipelago district and the efforts made by the government. government public relations in dealing with these obstacles. Methods: The research method used is descriptive qualitative research with an inductive approach. The data collection technique used in this research is the technique of Observation, Interview, and Documentation. Results/Findings: The results of this study indicate that the government's PR in carrying out the dissemination of public information through the media website @kepyapenkab.go.id has not been running optimally. This is influenced by the lack of network infrastructure and data servers, the limited number of public relations employees, and the lack of public knowledge about the use of information technology. Government public relations coordinates with BKD in adding employees, submitting additional public relations budgets for 2022 and implementing socialization and education and training in 16 districts. Conclusion: the conclusion in this study is the results of this study indicate that the government's public relations in carrying out the dissemination of public information through the media website @kepyapenkab.go.id has not run optimally. Keywords: Effectiveness of Dissemination, Information, Website ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Penulis fokus pada Efektivitas Diseminasi Informasi Publik melalui Media Website @kepyapenkab.go.id di kabupaten kepulauan yapen dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat akan setiap kegiatan yang dilakukan pemerintah kepada masyarakat dan kegiatan penyelenggaraan pemerintah dikabupaten kepulauan yapen sampai tahun 2022 masih belum efektif. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana efektivitasnya Website @kepyapenkab.go.id sebagai media publik yang dikelola humas dalam penyampaian informasi kepada masyarakat, apa saja kendala yang dihadapi pemerintah dalam diseminasi informasi di 2 kabupaten kepulauan yapen dan upaya-upaya yang dilakukan oleh humas pemerintah dalam menangani kendala-kedala tersebu. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian secara kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan induktif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik Observasi, Wawancara, dan Dokumentasi. Hasil/Temuan: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Humas pemerintah dalam melaksanakan diseminasi informasi publik melalui media website @kepyapenkab.go.id belum berjalan maksimal. Hal ini di pengaruhi oleh kekurangan Infrastruktur jaringan dan data server, jumlah pegawai humas yang masih terbatas, dan kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat akan penggunaan teknologi informasi. Humas pemerintah berkoordinasi dengan BKD dalam penembahan pegawai, pengajuan penambahan anggaran humas tahun 2022 dan pelaksanaan sosialisasi dan diklat di 16 distrik distrik. Kesimpulan: kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Humas pemerintah dalam melaksanakan diseminasi informasi publik melalui media website @kepyapenkab.go.id belum berjalan maksimal.
