Abstract

This study will discuss the improvement of e-Kinerja-based employee performance by the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) of Southwest Aceh Regency. This study was conducted to find out what are the obstacles in improving the performance of e-Kinerja-based employees by the BKPSDM of Southwest Aceh Regency and what efforts are made by the BKPSDM of Southwest Aceh Regency to improve the performance of e-Kinerja-based employees. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative. This research uses performance theory by John Miner in Sudarmanto (2020: 11) which consists of 4 dimensions, namely quality, quantity, time and cooperation. The results of this study show that the performance of employees within the Government of Southwest Aceh Regency in terms of macro performance achievements has increased due to one of them is an objective performance assessment through the e-Kinerja system. The results of this study recommend the Government of Southwest Aceh Regency, especially the BKPSDM of Southwest Aceh Regency as the leading sector of the e-Kinerja program in order to develop state civil apparatus skills and competencies; increase the understanding and mastery of each employee's main duties and functions by empowering staffing clinics; integrating the e-Kinerja system with other staffing systems; awarding or rewarding employees who perform the highest every month or employees with the highest performance achievement increase every year; as well as accelerating the submission of BKN's performance appraisal application in accordance with Governing Regulations Number 30 of 2019 concerning Civil Servant Performance Assessment or other recent applications in accordance with the latest policies including echelon simplification policies. This study concluded that the e-Kinerja program improves employee performance within the Southwest Aceh Regency Government.
